Location

Harmony Park is located between Strand and Gordon's Bay Beaches, and it can be spotted from the road by looking for a hill area with blue brick chairs and a security gate.

Surrounding Area

Nothing in the surrounding area as the beach is a little far in and you have to drive out to get on the main road again. you can walk, its just going to take a few minutes from the actual beach/water area.

The Beach

The design of the tidal pool is what amazed me the most, the circular shaped platforms which you could relax and leave your belongings there and then also use it to dive off from. and if you swim closer to the edge of the tidal pool the waves that come over makes the experience that much more better.

The down side to this beach is the up keep of it, being that it is a monitored beach and it was that dirty was beyond my comprehension. There were a lot of bottles and chip packets floating around from the other people using the beach. not the cleanest place to swim, but definitely worth a try just to experience the tidal pool.

It’s been years since my last visit to Harmony Park, and I’m thrilled to say it exceeded my expectations in every way!

From the moment I arrived, everything was well organized, making the experience hassle-free and enjoyable. The weather was absolutely perfect, and spending the day with amazing company only enhanced the overall vibe.

What stood out most was the noticeable presence of law enforcement throughout the park. Their visibility created a secure and peaceful environment, allowing visitors to fully relax and enjoy themselves without any worries.

The park itself is beautifully maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to unwind and take in the natural beauty. The atmosphere was vibrant yet calming, making it a fantastic spot for families, friends, or anyone looking to escape the hustle of daily life.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit,Harmony Park is definitely a gem worth...

There is literally nothing positive i can say about this place. Today was the first in 19 years that i was in harmony park and nothing has changed. Its dirty and unsanitory. The toilets are dirty and full of sewage water. And whats worse. People sit in the toilets taking a dump with open doors while children are in and out ans theres no cleaners in the toilet. Its unkept and unsafe, with no covid protocols observed. No sanitizer in the toilet. People drinking everywhere. The braai area is riddles with thorns. Disgusting experience. Do not take ur family to...

We were there over the weekend in Jan. There is staff around, lifesavers and your child can get tagged if you wish. The tagging programme is also a job creation inititive for the locals. The parking and braai area is at the bottom so its a bit of a walk to the tidal pools. The place was mostly maintained. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean. People mostly camped out at the bottom of the jetty and it was smelly because people decide not to use the bathrooms provided. It was a quiet weekend when we went im not sure how it gets when its full. Police was also visible
