Lovely day when it's been sunny, but if it rains it can get a bit muddy. Lots of dog walkers here so taking your dog here won't be a problem. Also lots of activities for kids to do; Multiple playgrounds and exercising areas, a small skatepark, tennis courts and benches everywhere to admire the scenery or take a break from walking with your kids. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, and you can't use the fields on Saturdays and schooldays, as the local high school uses them for rugby and soccer. This place also had lots of great preservation sites that are helping the local species thrive. Also a great place to put a memorial for a loved one if you ask. Most times there's a coffee van selling coffee and other small snakes, but up by the hockey fields, there's lots more small vans selling pancakes and ice-cream. Overall 4.5 stars. Did I mention literally wherever you go there's a view of...

Best Park I've been to in CT. Very clean, safe, dogs can run off leash, 2 playgrounds, one for little ones (no dogs allowed in this one) & one for bigger ones (which just got a fresh coat of paint).

Great meeting place with log seating circles, benches too. Skate bowl thing, new & functioning exercise machines. Also, spotless ablutions thanks to Emmarentia & her team.

Flowing water with tadpoles to catch (but put them back). Info boards local fauna & flora. Rewinding area where they don't mow & let it grow. Big trees that you can use for slack lining (if you protect the tree). And lots of labels on trees courtesy of my mother, in memory of my father.

No laser tag parties allowed though! But there are big sports fields next door to run your kids & dogs. Great view of Table Mountain...

Great family park. Extensive network of paths for families to stroll and kids to learn to ride their bikes (luckily no serious cyclists). Loads of trees, some areas of indigenous planting, great big sports fields so plenty of place for kids and dogs to run. There are some streams, small and safe and great to splash in. There is a dedicated picnic area close to the kids playground, so a favourite for birthday parties, but you can pretty much picnic anywhere. Most of the people who walk here seem to be regulars who live in the surrounding areas so there is a high degree of courtesy and safety if you are a...

I’ve been going to Keurboom park for 24 years, since my son was born. I love it! Even though I’m not a dog owner (my kitties wouldn’t appreciate it 😜), I sometimes take my friend’s Labrador. There are loads of people at any given time so safe and it is well-maintained. Venture a bit further along the path to the Rondebosch Boys’ School fields and you’ll have the best mountain view. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a coffee from the little coffee van. Whether solo or in a group, doggy or not, you’ll relish the beauty of this urban oasis.

Keurboom park has something for everyone. Grassy areas under trees to picnic or party on, two children's playgrounds (one for the littlies, and one for older kids), and sports fields good for touch rugby, frisbee, soccer or whatever. The cherry on the top is that it is one of the few places in Cape Town where dogs are allowed to run off leash. There are also public toilets with an attendant so they are clean and useable.

A wonderful place for the family. There are a few play parks for the kid's. It has a paved path that runs all the way around the park. It's great for walks and running. The beautiful, tall trees provide loads of shade. Dogs are allowed. There's a lot of parking and the public toilets are clean. If you're going to be here for a few hours then bring water and toilet paper along as the toilets do not have either of those.
