First off to get to this place is tricky because of the gravel road you will jave to take if you have a bakkie, suv or anything higher than a vw polo from the ground this might not be such a big issue, but the belly of my car got hit by a few rocks and everything on my car is standard if you wondered ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜, i drove at 10km/h and was all over the road to try and miss the big rocks, the walk nice and calm the scenery was beautifull and you dont need to be a expert to do this walk, we walked all the possible routes ( we could see) and we were on the trails for 3 and a half hours, overall real nice and safe, you have to park your car at a gate which looks a little abandoned but it all gets better from there as you move...

This reservation has nice hiking trails and a lovely dam that is situated in the reserve. I would recommend this reservation for nature lovers. However, access to the reserve is not monitored or controlled, as such anyone can enter. I suggest hiking in groups,if alone or in a pair you could literally be the only people in the reserve at a given time and i wouldn't wonder the hiking the trails without company as you would...

This beautiful town nestled 3 &1/2hours from Johannesburg and 3 Hours from Durban is a great place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of City life. Clarens is a quaint town. And very popular over weekends. For myself I prefer the quiet times to breathe in the world and fresh air and to exhale go for bike ride or walk and feel one with my peaceful...

Beautiful small dam at the edge of the city worth a visit. Quit place to hangout, you can try fishing too. Swimming is prohibited. The way to dam is a 200 meter walk after you park your vehicle. The trail becomes slippery in rain so wear shoes accordingly. There is no shade near dam, so pack an umbrella too in case it rains.
