Victoria Lake — Attraction in Ekurhuleni Ward 36

Great spot to relax with family and friends. The area is quiet and relaxing if a bit rundown. There are small gazebos for picnics and a large number of shade trees. The park stretches beyond what you can initially see and there are treasures to be found if you are willing to explore. Entrance is free, but parking is a ways away from the dam. When we went we were not allowed to enter by the main entrance and had to enter by a different gate. The bathrooms are new and very neat. Beautiful place to spend in nature with park benches and little huts to prepare picnic food . Ablution facilities are kept neat and clean as thay are new butI being damaged by visitors over the weekend periods . Maybe security should be monitoring the facilities and the culprets need to be fined a fee to repair the damages . Good parkrun on saturdays with alot of friendly marshalls to keep the event going and injury free . Coarse is flat but a double lap . There is a little skate park for teenagers to polish...
