Great spot to relax with family and friends. The area is quiet and relaxing if a bit rundown. There are small gazebos for picnics and a large number of shade trees. The park stretches beyond what you can initially see and there are treasures to be found if you are willing to explore. Entrance is free, but parking is a ways away from the dam. When we went we were not allowed to enter by the main entrance and had to enter by a different gate. The bathrooms are new and very neat.
