Apart from the stairs leading to the garden, there is nothing else "Japanese" about the gardens. It is well kept in terms of cut grass and being tidy - that's it. There is a playground and swings to keep the kids busy for a few hours whilst picnicking. There is plenty of open space and benches furnished with thatched umbrellas to sit under. The dam, however, is dirty and half full. There is a little bridge that is broken and seems to be left with no intention of repairing. Taking pictures would be a photographers nightmare as there is not much to offer in terms of scenery except for a little rock formation, some bushes and trees that can be used as props. There is a sign indicating that dogs are allowed but must be on a leash...

Amazingly serene and peaceful bliss is the experience here. Has a relaxing feel that you'd experience and you could really make use of the peace and quiet to think things through and clear your mind for any aspect that requires thought. Ideally suitable for students to go and relax without stress and worry of the pace and haste of school and for adults who just require peace and quiet, this place is strongly recommended. Based on personal experience, the park is relatively quiet and there aren't much people around, this gives you time and space to detox your mind from life's stresses and breathe easy. The park is always well kept and cleaned, the staff/workers mind their own business and leaves you be. Surely...

Bent swings and smelly ponds should be the opening welcome quote for this establishment, when last were the ponds cleaned?....sadly it seems as tho all the fish have died due to the lack of maintenance......for this to be a park literally situated in Sarnia which is in my opinion one of the neatest litter free areas I've seen ,this park is a major letdown. Maintenance plz either fix and or update your park or close it completely.its also good to point out that there are only 6 swings and 1 slide available to patrons which is inadequate....I've seen 30 children fight over the minimum entertainment facilities

Plz notice the bent pole thats supposed to maintain the structural integrity...
