Every time I go to Jump for Joy Watercrest I hope for a better experience. I'm yet to learn who the manager is, as he seems to shy away from customers and there are no name badges on the staff. When arriving , you are not welcomed by smiling staff, and feel as though they are doing you a big favour. This week I took my 8 yr old daughter to jump with a friend. There was no space for me to sit with my pram and small baby so I sat at the party table. I was soon asked to move up the stairs, as they did not allow people to sit and eat in this area. There is no signage of this. I asked if there were parties booked to which I was told no there were none. The kind staff member helped me move my double pram up the set of stairs whilst I held my baby in my arms. We also then carried all our food and drinks to our new table up the staircase. I watched another family sit and have to move again, like me. After having a party at this same venue in March this year and again spending money there this week, (which is not cheap) the service from management is simply appalling. The Marshall's also lack customer service and etiquette. I also watched a toddler run towards the front doors with no one attending to her to stop her which made me concerned about who would get to her quick enough with the car park being so close. Luckily the same kitchen/cleaning staff ran from the back to stop the little girl.
I would much rather travel to Durban north and get good service. Kitchen and catering staff were amazing. Please do something about your front of house so that we can enjoy our time there and come back in the future. Look at reviews. Listen to customers. You have an amazing facility there but lacking professionalism and...
Read moreUnfortunately, I can't be too positive about Jump 4 Joy Waterfall After a previous bad experience, we decided to give it another chance, hoping things would be different. Sadly, they were not. The only friendly staff member was at the till. Despite having three staff members behind the till area, only one was working while the other two were just talking or sitting idly, even during busy times. You’d expect them to be more proactive to speed up the process. The rest of the staff seemed very unhappy, carrying an air of arrogance and power over the customers. When I went to check on my child while holding a sealed drink purchased from their shop, I was told it couldn't be brought onto the platform, despite it being sealed and me not participating in any activities. It’s apparent that the employees are either underpaid, too young for the responsibilities, or possibly micromanaged by the owner. The numerous printed notices plastered everywhere suggest a heavily controlled environment, which might contribute to their discontent.Additionally, I question whether they adhere to health and safety rules regarding the number of kids jumping at one time. Every visit feels overpriced for the experience provided. The only reason they stay in business seems to be the lack of alternative options...
Read moreWell done on the new venue, guys! Wonderful warm sunny views over the valley from the coffee shop while still being able to see your child everywhere in the center, it's the perfect family venue for the active family. The exclusive under 5 year old areas are so colorful and inviting. The obstacle course is perfect for teens and adults to challenge each other to supremacy. The climbing wall with its slow release safety harness is great for both young and not so young to battle it out. So bring your climbing shoes so everyone will think you know what your are doing. I found booking a slot on their website easy and convenient and friendly enthusiastic staff welcoming and always close by on the equipment to assist and keep order. I can't wait for membership to become available, hint, hint. Lol. Thanks again for a great venue in our...
