CAR BROKEN INTO. I wish I could rate them higher. The hike was a great challenge for those with experience. Though the trails are mapped out, they are poorly color coded. As inexperienced hikers who had a 4 year old along with us, we were not provided much information even when we asked how tough the hike may be. We were told we should have no issues. Clearly they could see we had a small child with us. Surely they knew it would take us longer than the average time to complete but did not give us that information either. Well, we had plenty of issues, the hike was the start of it. It was not a hike for anyone under 8 as we crossed the multiple bodies of water and straight up the side of a canyon. We ended up having to call toward the end to be fetched due to all of us being over it. You think that’s the worst part? it is not. We returned to our car broken into and an attempt to steal it. Luckily they failed. They ripped out wires, destroyed the firing pin, the steering column, and completely tore open the dash. It wasn’t bad enough that this happened but management had zero remorse and stated over the phone because he thought we couldn’t hear, “they apparently are not from here (SA) and clearly are not used to things like this happening”. “if they don’t calm down, leave them there to figure things out for themselves” which we ended up having to do anyways. Picked up by our people, and paid our own tow.

There was zero people around to witness though when we arrived, there was the transport guy parked up at the entrance, two vehicles riding around roaming. And several employees walking around. However, once our vehicle was the last one left, it was a ghost town and no one around. No apology offered for the excessive damage done to our vehicle and no offer to compensate for a tow truck or an Uber to get us home, as the vehicle was damaged beyond driving. They could have at least refunded us for the ill informed hike to make us at least feel they cared. If you know you are situated in such a remote location, do your patrons a favor and hire security. I’m sure you can afford it with all the attraction your website boasts about.

Just so odd, that someone driving past would see our Fortuner parked when the place is situated so deep in the area. He even alluded to us being followed possibly. We weren’t, there were zero cars on the road closer to the location. Again, where were your employees to monitor the area.

I gave two stars because the hike would have been great had we been recommended against doing it with the 4 year old. Other than that, I would rate it zero. Your reply to this rating isn’t necessary as, there is no possible response that could repair...

It was a friend's 40th birthday, and I thought it would be a great idea to add some adventure to our day by going zip-lining. It was an adrenaline rush. Especially the first zip-line. It’s like when you drive a motorcycle after a long time. You experience this vibrating adrenaline rush through your body.

I chose Adventure Zone for this activity because it was only 60 km from Pretoria and Centurion, and I wanted to explore Cullinan a bit.

We hooked on and off a total of 8 times between 4 zip-lines. The total length of the zip-line was 1,523 meters. The highest point of view is 75 meters, and the top speed is 121 km/h. The zip-line runs over the Mungini Gorge, and the views are awesome if you can keep your eyes open.

You are looking at a cost of R650 per person, depending on your package.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I especially recall Reggie (I hope I got his name correct) greeting us in the parking area, driving us down to the reception area, briefing us on what was going to happen, safety protocols, and also guiding us through the entire zip-line experience.

It took us just under 2 hours to complete.

The fourth and final zip-line ends near the reception area. From there, it’s a short walk to where we took a few pictures and removed our gear.

My overall experience of the zip-line activity is a positive one. Adventure Zone offers other activities as well, and I think I will be back for them in the near future.

I can't think of anything I dislike about Adventure Zone.

Thanks, Adventure Zone. Great fun.

That is it for a brief review. May this inspire you to visit Adventure Zone in Cullinan. For more things worth doing and places worth seeing. Check out...

I Wish my review could be better but Adventure Zone missed so many opportunities to be amazing. We received a voucher for the zipline. I emailed to make a booking and confirmed the available slot. When we got to Adventure Zone we were told that the zipline is in another location. No mention of it while making the booking... Drove like a lunatic to be at the new location in time to be greeted by a sign that says you have to park in the designated area and walk down. There is no designated area, just the same veld grass. As there was other cars in the area of the quad bikes we tried our luck and hoped that is not to long walk from there as there is no indication of it or what we can or should take with. Luckily we got the correct area quickly to be greeted by staff sitting around. We asked some of them about the Zip Line and was told they were not informed about the booking and will take some time to get ready. We were offered to get some coffee in the mean time as it was still a bit cold just to be told we cant get coffee as the lady is preparing pap for another group. Not sure what pap and coffee has to do with each other but at that stage were also not that surprised anymore. From there on at least the friendly staff (Specifically the 2 guys that took us on the zip line) made it so much better. The zip line is fun and thrilling and the area is beautiful. I am sure where large groups are involved they are being taken care of but at this stage I would not recommend it to friends. I really do hope Adventure zone fixes these small issues that have a big impact as they have the opportunity to...

The place was very nice, with some awesome features and fun activities. Just some were extremely expensive... but the hiking trail was awesome. Obviously tiring, but beautiful views. And those old house things was such a suprise. But, Advensure zone please read this: NB. on one of the trails there is a bee hive, in the middel of the trail, like under a rock.. i am deathly allergic, so my group had to make our own path into the surrounding just to skip that part. (We were there when it was still hot out) please, when spring comes again, send out a few people to walk the trail and find that bee hive, there were a lottt of bees, and being so far away from any help, that can end badly. It was one of the shorter trails. But i dont think the shortest one. It was nearing the old buildings. And near that beautiful outlook rock. If you cannot i understand, just for the people planning on going, if you are allergic, bring your epipens👌 the views are basically worth it
