Klipriviersberg hike — Attraction in Gauteng

I went to Kliprivierberg on Saturday morning very excited to do my first hike since the lockdown was imposed. We were so excited to get there as early as possible. After parking the car we ventured to the closed gate hoping we were the first people to arrive. Our excitement soon turned into disappointment when the security told us that the place has been closed since the lockdown began & they were not sure when it will be open. I had tried to call the contact number on the website during the week to no avail, moreover the closing & opening times were active all the time & that's why I was convinced that they were open. Best to go early 630am to 7am. Lots of trails,But not marked by Kms , although well marked by colours. The trails are well kept .We saw Zebra , Wildebeest, and Antelope. Very safe.
