Read moreJust over 30min from Tsitsikamma / Stormsriver towards Plettenberg, this is a good beach to go to and it allows fishing and is also pet friendly, but it's quite windy and rip currents can occur, depending on the time of the day. It was not busy (but it can be busy during peak times) and it has a decent coastline to walk / run. There are also some fancy properties in close proximity tucked away in the trees. The ocean is cold but swimable on a hot day. The lagoon is fantastic for small children and water activities.
On the shop side there is a walk to the salt river and private pebble beach.
