The Royal Tour Queen Jacqueline the FIRST met the big wild beach today. The big scary noisy moving blue, fringed with handmade lace and trimmed with white tassels. The carpet was pale and soft, which required considerable effort from the Dowager. The carpet was littered with flower like ornaments, typical of these people, flowers and tassels seemingly everywhere. Actually mauve, red and butter coloured seaweeds. Strange creatures lurked hither and thither, and I thought that they might want to play, but they lay unmoving, legs in the air, so I couldn’t chase them. Driftwood and spindly, sea washed branches. Even though this is a public beach, there is only a few people who walk or swim here making this beach a nice and private beach.
This beach is ideal for taking long walks on, for walking your dogs or for just wandering over the beautiful rocks to gaze in amazement at the incredible rock pools filled with little sea creatures.
This beach does not have a supervised swimming area with lifeguards so swimming is at your own risk. There are many rocks along the beach so it might be dangerous to swim here.
Situated on the beach is the Shelly Beach Ski Boat Club which serves amazing cocktails and platters, ideal to sit at after a long walk. However pets are not allowed here.
I would definitely recommend visiting this beach and enjoying a long walk...
