Milkwood Beach Cottages — Hotel in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

At the gate we were welcomed by Robert who we later discovered is a master chef. As we got into the cottage I mentioned that my wife and I frequent a certain place in Margate for years and Roberts response was "too bad for them, this is your new spot" I thought that was rather rude and self proclaiming until I,myself felt that very feeling of this is the new spot before the night closed off. From serving us candlelight dinner right in the cottage and then serving and joining us for breakfast the next day I must admit the character of this amazing couple Robert and Li-Marie fits in perfectly with the surroundings of this calm,relaxing getaway. Everything in the cottage as a personal hand crafted touch and even the 14year old resident German Shepherd Linzi is there to welcome you to a home away from Home. 5stars are not enough to rate this little piece of heaven with heavenly beings. Had a fantastic stay. Was greeted with a smile on arrival and the hosts were accommodating and friendly for the entire stay. The place does not qualify for a full 5 but is definitely well above a 4 and I think the average of 4.7 is right on target. Dstv is available as Dstv now and this just needs to be connected to your phone or laptop. You walk out of the front gate and onto the beach which is quiet and provides good fishing. The animal lovers will be in heaven as each unit has its own fenced off area and your pets are welcome or your young children have a safe place to play. A high security wall with eclectic fence adds to your security and peace of mind. No place is crime proof but a lot of effort has been made to keep you safe. The Shelly centre and South Coast malls are within 6 minutes drive and you can be on the highway to one of the amazing golf courses in the area or the Wild Coast Casino. I Will be back for...

24 February 2020 - We had the most wonderful holiday and will keep returning to this beautiful place! Robert and Li-Mari, your hospitality, gorgeous food and attention to detail made this a trip worth remembering! Where else will you experience fresh seafood in a romantic setting overlooking the ocean? Cliff absolutely loved your calamari and the trouble you went through to find that fresh fish I so wanted is really commendable. Best fish I have ever eaten. The chalet was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Access to the beach a breeze and the fact that we could have our fur child with us was just amazing. As an extra bonus we mostly enjoyed a very private and excluded experience on the beach. We could relax in a quiet and tranquil environment and the worst part was having to leave!
