Insanely Expensive! Not a good start when we arrived and the booking was messed up, the booking had our 7 year old kids (3) on a different time slot with Mom and Dad, suggesting we must leave our kids alone for an hours quad bike ride. So they did change it so the Kids would go with us on our quad bikes... costing us R1600 (What the?). The guide was good, while the trail was boring. The dirt track was nothing exciting, to make it more fun I had to find every mud hole to ride through. Safety was standard, but a huge waiver that absolves QZ from any wrong doing. The track was like traveling on someones large back yard, turn around and do the same track again, just from the other direction. We had a fun day with the kids now mostly covered in mud thanks to our intervention. BUT the worst was yet to come... We thought it a good idea to eat lunch there. We ordered 4 burgers one boere roll and 5 cold drinks (300ml). The food was subpar, patties were much smaller than the bun, which in itself was small. No sauce other than the tomato and mustard sauce etc. Then when it came to paying, OMG! R475?! It was so so upsetting it left a bad taste in our mouth. NO thank you! rip me off once and you will never see me again. But people need to know what they're in form. QZ, what a poor show, in this time of post lockdown, if you not upping you game and customer service, you are in for a...
Read moreThere are so many activities to choose from. We tried the hour long archery with unlimited shots. No protective gear at all was provided, and the bows naturally had a fairly worn-in look. U should have some sort of protection for your fingertips if you do the hour long unlimited shots activity, cos pulling back on that string for an hour is like... Learning to play notes on the guitar for the first time ever.. fingertips really got a workout. The bows are also not the best (based solely on the fact that, when trying to aim, i could always see the entire target and the wooden tripod it was attached to) However, when someone stands to the side of you they can tell you whether you're going to hit the target or not just by looking at the angle of your arrow in relation to the target... Maybe use that as a tip on how to better aim with those bows, because without such assistance, the arrow more often than not misses the entire target structure and so u have no real feedback regarding which actual direction u should adjust your aim to. However, after all's said & done, the experience itself was...
Read moreThe place looks very good and looks like it's a lot of fun. However I had to cancel a booking because of COVID cases within the family over a month ago. They ignore my emails and won't respond to my enquiries about the process. The after sales service is horrible and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will never be coming back either.
Edit: I tried to contact management to explain how I am not blaming the company for COVID, I am complaining about needing to write a bad review before they request my bank details for a refund after a month of waiting for feedback. Management is not getting back to me.
Edit: I have requested to speak to managers 3 times and nobody has gotten back to me, on email and on WhatsApp. I also called. I will not remove this review because my bank details were only requested a month after I asked for a refund after being told that my refund will be done shortly immediately after requesting it. The service is honestly terrible and I can't believe how much trouble you are making for yourself.
I also see on hello Peter that you really struggle with...
