What a top venue! Great variety of activities and helpful staff. Have your own braai or have it catered for by them. Owners are quite involved which is great. Not too far away from the main centres in JHB so it's easy to access, adequate parking. Well spaced out with everything being quite near and taken care off. Will be great for corporate events. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family. Keep it up guys! So the updated review (9 Jan 2025) is that it is still great. This time we tried the quad biking. However, some info was not related clearly. Firstly, it's advertised as an hour ride, but this includes the safety talk so the ride is actually 40min. It's fine to do this but just advertise it clearly. And then I was arriving at 12:07 so I called the office and they said it's fine and they will inform the staff that I will be slightly late. When you get there they say that I have to wait till 13:00. Had this been relayed to me I would not have rushed to get there. Again it's fine to run the rides on the hour but let the people know. Communication is key.

Ground Zero Adventures is a real vibe! 👌🏾So glad to have discovered it as I am looking forward to visit many more times (true to my word I have returned twice already). There is a lot to do here. Quad biking is always a must whenever I am here. The routes are well designed for speed in some sections, twist and turns, incline and decline, through mud pits - a whole some experience! Go karting is also very enjoyable but the vehicles 🏎️ have aged so much and have become uncomfortable. But great activity for competing with friends or siblings. Safe with a guarantee not to topple unlike with quad biking. Archery 🎯 is so difficult 😩😩 Paintball is my n ew favorite here. Painful but enjoyable. Make sure your cardio is to notch fitness though. I think the prices are very fair. Be prepared to get very dirty when you go there for quad biking and go karting. Avoid wearing white by all means. The precautions they take for Covid-19 are so impressive! They sanitize every helmet and surfaces and also insist on people wearing their masks at all times. 👏🏾👌🏾

We went to the venue for quad biking. There are various other activities that one can partake in at the venue e.g. archery, go Karting, etc. The quad bikes were well used I.e. they were not the newest and wear was very evident. The tour guides were friendly and helpful. A person who has never quad biker before can easily learn the ropes. They even took pictures and videos of the group. The track was a sandy path with a few climbs and turns but really nothing to write home about. The helmets provided lacked visors which made it a bit difficult to follow when dust was raised by bikes ahead. I would recommend carrying sun glasses and masks to limit this impact. The path is single file so all adventurers had to follow one and other. This was nice but meant that we drove at low speeds. In facts only a few times was the throttle actually used. I feel the group should have been split to allow for a bit of speed. I have given 3 stars as a result of the equipment and overall management at the trail. I would go back if these are improved.

Insanely Expensive! Not a good start when we arrived and the booking was messed up, the booking had our 7 year old kids (3) on a different time slot with Mom and Dad, suggesting we must leave our kids alone for an hours quad bike ride. So they did change it so the Kids would go with us on our quad bikes... costing us R1600 (What the?). The guide was good, while the trail was boring. The dirt track was nothing exciting, to make it more fun I had to find every mud hole to ride through. Safety was standard, but a huge waiver that absolves QZ from any wrong doing. The track was like traveling on someones large back yard, turn around and do the same track again, just from the other direction. We had a fun day with the kids now mostly covered in mud thanks to our intervention. BUT the worst was yet to come... We thought it a good idea to eat lunch there. We ordered 4 burgers one boere roll and 5 cold drinks (300ml). The food was subpar, patties were much smaller than the bun, which in itself was small. No sauce other than the tomato and mustard sauce etc. Then when it came to paying, OMG! R475?! It was so so upsetting it left a bad taste in our mouth. NO thank you! rip me off once and you will never see me again. But people need to know what they're in form. QZ, what a poor show, in this time of post lockdown, if you not upping you game and customer service, you are in for a...

There are so many activities to choose from. We tried the hour long archery with unlimited shots. No protective gear at all was provided, and the bows naturally had a fairly worn-in look. U should have some sort of protection for your fingertips if you do the hour long unlimited shots activity, cos pulling back on that string for an hour is like... Learning to play notes on the guitar for the first time ever.. fingertips really got a workout. The bows are also not the best (based solely on the fact that, when trying to aim, i could always see the entire target and the wooden tripod it was attached to) However, when someone stands to the side of you they can tell you whether you're going to hit the target or not just by looking at the angle of your arrow in relation to the target... Maybe use that as a tip on how to better aim with those bows, because without such assistance, the arrow more often than not misses the entire target structure and so u have no real feedback regarding which actual direction u should adjust your aim to. However, after all's said & done, the experience itself was...

The place looks very good and looks like it's a lot of fun. However I had to cancel a booking because of COVID cases within the family over a month ago. They ignore my emails and won't respond to my enquiries about the process. The after sales service is horrible and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will never be coming back either.

Edit: I tried to contact management to explain how I am not blaming the company for COVID, I am complaining about needing to write a bad review before they request my bank details for a refund after a month of waiting for feedback. Management is not getting back to me.

Edit: I have requested to speak to managers 3 times and nobody has gotten back to me, on email and on WhatsApp. I also called. I will not remove this review because my bank details were only requested a month after I asked for a refund after being told that my refund will be done shortly immediately after requesting it. The service is honestly terrible and I can't believe how much trouble you are making for yourself.

I also see on hello Peter that you really struggle with...
