My visit to the Shell museum was a spur of the moment but unforgettable event. The museum was revamped recently and is a little hidden Gem in Jeffrey's bay. They have a remarkable & world standard shell exhibition with interesting and important facts & information on the hundreds of shells on display. The shells are in a flawless state of preservation in glass cabinets. The curators are knowledgeable and there are a few books on sale about shells, shipwrecks off the coast of the Eastern Cape and on the History of Jeffrey's Bay.
