Read moreGreat place to hang out but please increase your security personnel as well as cleaners when you have events! Yesterday was not really working for us the older generation: the place was packed to the rafters with ma2000, getting into the toilets one had to ask them to move as they were blocking the doors(literally loitering at the door- check your surveillance archives)! Going out of the toilets the same story! The entrance next to the ATM's was a nightmare! There was a constant milling about of people who had no intention of drawing any money, getting inside the hotel was also a problem as there was no proper control(security) as the Moo Bar crowd(yesterday's) was blocking the entrance! I do not have a problem with MOO BAR crowd, but what you had going on there yesterday leaves one with a lot of questions ...please maintain the standard and reputation that you are known for; maximising profits has never meant at the expense of your clients! It can still be done but with respect, dignity and class! Maybe the management does not care anymore seeing that you are rumoured to be moving or you have a new broom who will ensure that the Rand keeps coming in at all costs?? Only you...

The service at the restaurant was good and I enjoyed my food which was a burger and chips/onion rings...really delicious. Breakfast was ok too. They do not do a buffet but there are good options on the menu. There is a pool which one can use from 6AM to 6PM. What did I not like? Firstly, the Aircon did not work, the remote was there but it had really old batteries that looked as if someone had bitten them to make get a bit of life from them. Secondly , it didn't seem as if the towel was freshly washed....one can tell a towel that is freshly washed. I was doubtful although it seemed clean so I just used my own one. Finally, one disappointment is dust ..there was quite a bit of dust on the mirror that's on top of the headboard and on the lamp shades. Hotels should really not in my view have dust because after all what they are selling is a clean comfortable space. The dust is also visible on the carpets in the room and passages. All in all I would stay there again.I...
