Our Grade 4 learners had a wonderful outing to the South African Air Force Museum this week. The experience was both fun and highly educational. The exhibits were very interesting and gave the children a chance to see history come to life in an exciting way. Everything was so well explained and presented, making it easy for the learners to understand and stay engaged. The outing was well organised from start to finish, and the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient with the learners. It was truly an informative experience that left the children inspired and full of questions. A big thank you to the SAAF Museum team for making history such an...

5/5 Great outing for the family. Learn about the aviation history of South Africa while being up close to real planes and helicopter. Free entrance (but make a donation to support the upkeep).

We decided to take a trip to this museum, and after driving for 4km on a very quiet road, just before we thought that we may be lost, it appeared in front of us.

Museum has utilized every inch of space to provide information about the topic. Get up close to the engines, planes, weapons and view old uniforms.

There is a hanger a small walk away from the museum building and if you ask nicely you may be able to see planes being restored.

Recommended outing for the...

The museum made my day and was a great way to finish off my holiday with one last outing. Everything was mind-blowing - the size of the planes, how complex they are, and all the interesting facts that were displayed next to the planes and parts. I really enjoyed it and found it extremely fascinating. I highly recommend this place. I just wish they would use a real plane hangar to provide more space. Additionally, it would be great if they had something like an R50 to climb into the planes. This would not only help with donations but also boost donations to the place. It's free to enter; they just ask for a small donation to keep the...

Please do not support this museum. Their Facebook page is encouraging and promoting hate speech. They are glorifying apartheid tacitly, if you have considered supporting them please reconsider, this is an organisation that promotes and glrofies things from apartheid and allows their Facebook users to insult and criticise the country and non-white people shamelessly
