Was really looking forward to a chai latte on a bleak and dreary day after a long drive and check in at PE Airport. Being the only restaurant on the ground floor (with Wimpy well hidden on first floor) 3 staff members chatting to each other for 2-3min all turned and looked at me at different times, carried on with what they were doing then two walked off in different directions. The last one turned with a rather large afro (surely hair nets are required when you are working with food) took a long slow stretch staring directly at me and proceeded to carry on with something else. I then asked if it would not be to much trouble if I could have a chai latte? In a cocky manner jiggling her head she said 'what did you say', and I repeated myself. And grudgingly and if it was with anymore speed she would be going backwards, started to pick up the jug. One of the other three then said 'I thought you were with someone else'. I do not recall anyone standing at the counter but me through any of this. At this point the jug was still in the first person's hand and an attempt had been made to reach for the milk. Disgusted at the total apathy I told them to leave it and walked away. I am not surprised to find more 1 ratings and no ratings above 3, an average or 1,5 as a rating. This is also not my first experience of shoddy service.

4 March 2024 Not much has changed. I arrived waited 5 min while a waitress (Pumela) continued chatting. Eventually I ask her for service and she told me quite abruptly they were closed. I told her I had just seen people being served drinks and asked what time they closed. She ignored my question and said they ordered a long time ago.

I walked round to the coffee counter and asked what time they closed. Nolutando politely replied 6pm but they were still open for coffees, which is all I wanted had Pumelu bothered to ask.

I was served a piping hot latte and complimented Nolutano on her service. I once again got serious attitude from Pumela when she saw me being served and glared at me. I told her to check her opening and closing times with her collegues and continued to argue with me. Shocking attitude. She would not be working there if it was...

I was at your restaurant yesterday 04/12 for a birthday lunch. We were first assisted by a lady that has plaited hair We ordered 2 kiddies meal (hake), 1 fish and chips, 1 steak and 1 pasta. While waiting for the food one of the waitresses with braided her came and took the plate with cutlery from our table to another table, we were left puzzled because she could have gone to the kitchen to fetch the cutlery for the table. A guy brought 2 fish and chips, 1 kiddies meal and the steak. We told them the order is incorrect, but because I was there to enjoy my birthday we let it go and had to share the 1 fish and chips and the hake between the two kids. Then the waiter brought 2 milkshakes that we ordered but the other glass is short and the other glass is long. Had to explain to the kids that it's the same size. By now everyone in the table is almost done eating while I'm still waiting for my pasta. We asked the lady and she told us that they forgot to make my pasta. I had to take it as a takeaway because my sister needed to board. I spent R800 and I have proof of payment on my phone. It was such an in convenience because we paid extra because of the...

Wa at Primi for quick coffee and light lunch for my husband and I. I don't know who our waitress was as we were served by 3 different people who never introduced themselves. We asked for a bill and no one came to collect, because my husband was rushing for his flight I had to wait for my change, we paid a bill of R209 and tipped R21 our total was R230 from R400, they didn't have a change, I waited while they were running around asking for a change, eventually one of the ladies told me to follow her to Sweet Treat I didn't mind coz I was panicking at this time thinking about my kids that will be home soon, she gave me the change and I did not count it as I was in a hurry. My ride was waiting already outside, when I was about to pay I noticed that my change was R100 short and I left already, I tried to call several times and no one was picking up coz I am thinking of the costs to go back and forth.

I am so...

Great decor, nice vibe, slow service. The spaghetti I had was probably top 5 one of the blandest meals I ever had. I ended up eating some of my mom's food - chicken ciabatta and they were out of fish completely as I originally ordered hake and chips. How do you run out of fish on the coast? I had four sad pieces of spinach in my plate. There was supposed to be salty strong Italian cheese, but I couldn't even pick it up. Waste of money.

Visited PRIMI PE on a early Sunday morning for a flight to Cape Town on FLYSAFAIR. It seemed like a good idea to eat before flying as the food on SAFAIR is heinous at best. We sat down and the waitress ( Ncumiso ) brought us menus and coffee and was fast and efficient and friendly. The food came out quickly and was typical PRIMI standard. After a pleasant breakfast it was through security and off to Cape Town. This venue is 100% halal.
