Marloth Park Adventures Go-Karts — Attraction in Nkomazi

We went go karting but the experience was very disappointing. First the karts wouldn't start very well. But mostly, the track is extremely bumpy so our bodies were hurting after 2 rounds. My back was hurting so much that after 2 rounds I had to quit. We asked whether it would be possible to go quad biking instead (which would be more expensive for us). The nice guy Soly said he would ask the owner but she was very unfriendly and simply said they dont do refunds and I chose this activity myself. The track seems quite flat where you start but the moment you turn around the corner it gets very bumpy so you cannot know this when you sign up. It seems that no maintenance is being done to the track and the owner is only after money and clearly not trying to give her customers a great experience. Absolute waste of money. A lap takes less than a minute as the track is tiny. R600 for 2 kids to spend 8 minutes go karting. Website very misleading as it says 30 minutes which is an absolutely lie. When phoning the owner we were told they must drive slower which is absolute rubbish. You could even walk the track in less than a minute!

In response to you: We are talking about two 11 year old girls not adults. The fact of the matter is it stated 30 minutes. From getting out the car, filling the form, paying, retying their hair, getting fitted with helmuts and taking photos before they started was less than 15 minutes. This was a disappointing experience for us. Wish we read the reviews before we went. Definitely not worth the R900 we spend for 3 adults. At the jump start of the track the road is fine, ones you get around the corner, you are in for the bumpiest drive of your life!! It was horrible, our farm road everyone uses daily is in a beter condition than this so called off road experience... The go-karts are not in a good condition, engine smokes like crazy!!
