If you're planning a visit to Kruger National Park in South Africa, I highly recommend staying at the Kruger Park Hostel. This hostel offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience, with its pristine cleanliness, stunning beauty, and incredible location in the heart of the wilderness. One of the best things about this hostel is its proximity to the wildlife. Zebra and warthogs are constantly roaming around the area, which is an amazing sight to see. You can even watch them while you enjoy your breakfast or relax outside. The views from the hostel are also breathtaking, with stunning sunsets and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts Rene and Devon are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond to make sure that their guests have an amazing experience. They are always available to answer questions, provide helpful tips, and offer great recommendations for things to do in the area. They even prepare a delicious home-cooked dinner every night that is not to be missed. Speaking of things to do, there is no shortage of activities in the area. From safaris and wildlife tours to watching the sunset and enjoying mini golf, there is something for everyone. The nearby water park is also a great place to cool off on a hot day. Overall, I can't recommend the Kruger Park Hostel enough. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to immerse yourself in the beauty and wildlife of Marloth Park, while enjoying the comforts of a clean and comfortable hostel. Rene and Devon are amazing hosts, and the activities in the area make for an...

My stay at Kruger Park Hostel was truly exceptional, feeling less like a hostel and more like a family away from home. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and fantastic programs made for an unforgettable experience…. and I was handed a beer :) Plus, the staff was a truly international bunch – I'm pretty sure I heard at least five different languages spoken before I even checked in, making for some hilariously confused but always friendly conversations with fellow travelers from every corner of the globe! We even saw warthogs, kudu, and impala right on the hostel grounds, and I swear I heard a lion roar in the middle of the night – talk about an immersive experience!
The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the camping safari with our incredible guide, Robert. He was absolutely awesome! Thanks to his expertise and keen eye, we managed to spot the Big Five all in one morning – an incredible feat that speaks volumes about the quality of their safari offerings.
After three nights of exciting camping, treating myself to a private room at the hostel was the perfect way to unwind. It was comfortable, clean, and provided a much-needed bit of luxury after the adventure.
I highly recommend Kruger Park Hostel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience near Kruger National Park. You won't be...
Read moreAbsolute Recommendation for Backpackers (10/10)! My sister and me stayed for one night on March 20th 2023. The owners René and Devon were so accomodating from the beginning. They try to create a nice Atmosphere between the guests and introduced us to everyone else. In the evening they organised a bbq for everyone for a really really good price. It was great and we met a lot of New friends from all around the World. This is exactly how a Hostelexperience should be. The rooms were a bit hot tbh. but they said they are already on repairing the AC. They drove us to a viewpoint of crododile river and even offered to go on a Safari with us with their car. We Chose a guided Tour instead and they helped us booking and organised that the Tourguide was picking us up at the Hostel in the morning. Best Thing about the place: It really is in the middle of the Bush. You could hear all the animals around and we saw wild birds, a kudu, impalas and even wild pigs wandering around the premises. Definetely a Recommendation...
