SRSE Winery (Pty) Ltd — Attraction in Overstrand Local Municipality

Our wine club had an enjoyable tasting at the estate recently although we felt that the tasting fee of R70 for five wines was on the high side especially as there was no relief if one purchased. However we were surprised to discover later that day that their wines were on sale at the local Tops liquor outlet for lower prices. For example their Sauvignon Blanc was R10 per bottle cheaper and the Hansom was R160 per bottle at Tops and R230 at the estate! What a rare find!!We were so intrigued by the beautiful but sad story about the history of this great man.He needs more honor than what is being given to him.The wines are stunning and the only Chenin blanc that is being found in this region.The fire place was going and we were blessed to have a lady that is the accountant of this farm but stood in for a friend that was sick.Please spend time here and enjoy beautifully...
