Being a first year student here from Pretoria, I was a little skeptical on what to expect, but I must say my number one surprise was the weather, we all have that mentality that Limpopo is hot, not here, it can really get cold on a day u thought was the hottest. otherwise there is also the diversity of rich Southern African culture, when I came here I could only speak Tswana and English but six months here I can already have a frank conversations in Swati, Pedi, Tsonga and Venda. I love University of Limpopo and I recommend any potential student to apply at this university for their APS is not too harsh to meet and they provide the best education with a lot of young vibrant facilitators that provide the best lectures, and one last thing I love about the University of Limpopo is that there is no harsh student social pressure. I wish one day the course is sold to a private business and turn it into Turfloop Golf Course and run it independently from the University and hopefully that will attract business people to invest in the course and thus the students from the university can still play at it and benefit from a real golf course that is well maintained.
