The pictures are NOT a current reflection of the status. The inside play area is about 5% of what's promised in the pictures. No balls in the ball pit. Tiny indoor jungle gym. No prams and dolls. No snail.

Then the outdoors is another disaster. Really badly looked after. The trampoline net is completely worn and my 2 yr old daughter fell straight through on the side and got hurt. Definitely a hazard for little children. The scooters are broken and cracked. The zipline slide has no seat (and they usually do when catering to younger kids) so a huge risk for little kids as they can't actually cope with holding onto just a rope.

The food was horrific. It's really hard to mess up fish fingers and chips but it firstly took over an hr to make and was fried in old old oil. Tasted horrible. Couldn't eat it. Just left.

Definitely won't be returning until things improve. The space has alot of potential but it's a nightmare at the moment.

The only positive is the staff.. really polite and warm...

It was our first time at the Kids Shack today (a rainy Sunday at around 1-ish), it was completely empty apart from one staff member. The kids had fun on the trampoline and zipline outside, and then for a while we sat in the main play room with the coffee shop. The children played with the ball pit and on the mini jungle gym. I wondered around and accidentally found the second play room. It was dark so I went to the front desk to ask if the kids were allowed in there too. We were told they could play anywhere so we moved to the bigger play room (I switched on the light myself). Overall you get what you pay for (I did have to call ahead for the daily play rate as it's not on the website) which is R100 per child for unlimited play. I was surprised to be asked if I wanted to tip when we left (you pay the play fees and any drinks when you leave). The kids did enjoy themselves so we might try it again in summer, to see what it's like in a different season with...

My Daughter's 4th Birthday Party was on Sunday i was not happy that the venue was understaffed with no supervision on the activities (the parents had to supervise the entire time)

We shared the venue with another child's 5th Birthday but there were many older children present at the child's party who were utilizing the childrens play area making it very uncomfortable for the little ones.

They were allowed to eat and drink beverages on the slide and throughout the venue with shoes on throughout the soft play area and on the trampoline almost colliding a few times with some toddlers, they hogged some of the games and their was no Kids Shack staff to handle this !

On a lighter note amazing coffee ,the Venue is Clean, Toilet Facilities clean games and activities all In working order, they decorated the themed party beautifully and the Mickey Mouse themed cake...

They made some changes since last i was there. Which included a slide and trampoline. However the place does need a full upgrade and better placement of the putt putt etc. The cement floor has holes which children could fall and trip. My son scrapped his toe open because of the uneven floor. Staff weren't friendly and don't supervise children instead just sit at the entrance and its probably because they are understaffed. Parking is terrible and not really catered for as its so far to walk with small children from the parking they advise to the venue. My kids enjoyed themselves although leaving with a few scratches. The price is affordable however I rather they upgrade and charge a little extra as there arent great indoor play parks in Southern suburbs. I would rather drive further and pay more then go back there.
