Oakvale Lodge Guest House — Hotel in Rondebosch

We were lucky enough to spend a week in this wonderful place, surrounded by the care of Dalene and Peter. I fell in love with this place while discussing the details of our stay: Dalene was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We felt absolutely at home: the atmosphere was very warm, hospitable and friendly. Our garden room was spacious with a charming garden corner. The small kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a microwave and a small electric stove. The breakfasts were perfect too! Fresh fruit salad, yummy omelette or scrambled eggs - delicious! Exactly what you need to start a busy day. Thank you very much for the warm welcome! It was a pleasure getting to know you all: Dalene, Peter, William and the adorable dogs! You’ve become one of the best memories of our trip to South Africa!...

We had just a one night stay at Oakvale Lodge but were nonetheless made very welcome. The Garden Suite was large with access to a beautiful garden and pool, although due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms we did not see them at their very best.||Dalene was an outstanding host and the five Westies were adorable - digging in the garden in the rain! Thanks also to William for making us so welcome on our arrival. ||Due to a morning flight we left Rondebosch early, but Dalene was there to bid us goodbye having provided an early morning breakfast and ensuring our car was parked for a quick departure. I enjoyed two wonderful days at Oakvale - the garden suite is spacious, very modern and stylish with a great privacy and own patio. Everything is super clean, very well maintained and the garden is a true treasure. Very clean and spacious pool to relax. On top of course the friendly owener Dalene who was very much supportive and cooking a tasty and rich breakfast. Indeed there is a bit traffic in the morning but didn't disturb me.
