Very unhappy with the quality off treatment we received yesterday. Which is normally a great experience at Beyers Kloof was yesterday tainted by extremely poor service from our waitress “Andy” who decided at one point se was no longer interested in serving us. I can understand that she might have been busy, but when we inquired on the inside as to when our next tasting sample of which we still had two left would come.We were told by her that we have had enough wine and without further discussion she turned her back and walked away. This obvious lack of caring even astounded her colleague to the point were he apologized for her action and offered to provide us with an extra complementary tasting.

This was very much appreciated but the actions of one member off the staff will surely make us think twice about referring this wine farm to others or making the drive...

So we are solid fans of Beyerskloof for all the Pinotage reasons :))) bbbbbbbut this was a let down.

One feels as if the wine tasting is done out of obligation instead of passion. We actually heard of the amazing story behind their Pinotage Diesel wine from the Lanzerac Wine Estate’s sommelier- you HAVE to do their tasting!)…(I digress…the Beyerskloof Pinotage Diesel was named after his dog who would only eat the grapes when they were just right for harvesting for the purposes of making a Pinotage…at the time they didnt quite realize the maturing stage of the wines was so closely linked to when Diesel the dog would be willing to eat them..! Maybe they will start sharing this and do it more justice…but my point is, Beyerskloof dont tell this story as part of their wine tasting (although you cant taste the Diesel)…its a great story with a lot of...

We had an absolutely fantastic visit to Beyerskloof Winery! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had the pleasure of being served by Brandon, who truly made our experience unforgettable. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for the wines were evident, and he took the time to give us a personalized, one-on-one tasting experience.

Not only did we get to sample some incredible wines, but Brandon also took us behind the scenes, where we got an up-close look at the barrels and learned about the winemaking process. It was fascinating to see the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into every bottle.

The setting was beautiful, the wines were exceptional, and the service was top-notch. If you’re looking for an intimate and insightful wine tasting experience, Beyerskloof is a must-visit, especially if you have the chance to be...

Award wining wines and a must do on your tour through the Winelands. The tasting is well worth it and the wines are very enjoyable. Stunning wines at Beyerskloof which is truely the home of pinotage (the „Synergy“ and the „Traildust were our favorites) and beside that creates an amazing Cabernet Sauvignon („Eerste Ry Cab Sav from 2019 is worth a few bottles at home :-)) and also fantastic and fruity Chenin Blanc/Pinotage. We had a tasting of option 1 and 2 and lunch in the restaurant with a view over the lands into the maintains. We got to meet the winemaker - Anri Truter - which was definitely a special treat.

We had warm drinks and a pizza on the deck at Red Leaf Restaurant and the view was stunning. My husband enjoyed his flat white as it was strong however, the hot chocolate I had wasn’t very hot or very chocolatey. The pizza was delicious and came rather quickly but, the service overall wasn’t the best as, it was incredibly hard to get our waitress’ attention at any given time. It seems to be quite quiet during the week which is lovely if you want to relax in a peaceful environment. I have mixed feelings about Red Leaf but, I may return to Beyerskloof for a wine tasting in future.
