Really nice experience. I was in the area for work and I got that chance of ride the local trails around this lovely place. The costumer attentions was great, they fill up all my requirements and replay in very short time. The trails and bike are very nice. I rode a Giant Trance, very well maintained and with the basic equipment, helmet, airpump, inner tube. If you ride the trails in the very same winery (Dirtopia trails) you get a free coffee before/after the ride. Thanks friends of Dirtopia!!!

Dirtopia is a great trail center for both cycling as well as trail runs. The paths are well maintained and challenging, there is a bike shop at the venue for anything you may need. The restaurant makes great food, service on busy days may be a bit slow but well worth the wait. There is usually a beer stand on trail race days.

I rode the Muratie Trails for the first time on the weekend and they may just have become my new favourite! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

Never again, especially not with kids!

About 6 weeks before our planned day trip we made a reservation for 6 bikes and provided the people’s heights as requested. Two of the six were kids (132 cm).

On arrival, one thing went really fast: cashing the 1.500 ZAR rental fee! Anything else was quite problematic: No bikes had been prepared, and after some time they presented bikes for the kids that were way too big. In the end, after about an hour, we received two bikes that had the appropriate size but without working gear shift and one of them very old and battered. Helmets for the kids were also a problem.

On the hills of the Dirtopia Trails around it was very hard for the kids to cycle with just one gear. So we stopped after 45 minutes. We kindly asked for a partial refund due to the not-working kids’ bikes - and as we used the bikes only on the Dirtopia Trails (for a very short time) and not, as charged, also off-trails. After several discussions with the three different employees and excuses like “I am not authorized”, “The guy you agreed the rental details with is no longer working for us”, etc. we received a refund of 100 ZAR. We stated that this is not appropriate for us. They replied that somebody will contact us during the next days. Until now, this...

Great people, decent opening hours and a single track that is very enjoyable even if you've done it a couple of times (check). The owners organize a lot of cycling tours and trail running activities so do check the facebooks and related pages. The bikes are rear suspension Giants, some brand new. Fine for this mountain if you are not the heaviest or spoiled with a full suspension. The prices are very OK for this kind of bikes (inculding a permit). The circle (including black trail) has a decent climb up, quite some technical bits (no huge drops) and great views. You can't really get lost but it doesnt hurt to bring the map the first time you're riding. The tracks are well maintained. After cycling you can hang around the restaurant around the corner. Bikes are fitted with an extra tire and pump, helmets are available at the rental, as well as some refreshments and socks/gear if needed. During the week you will be one of the few, in the weekends it won't hurt to let them know you're coming to book a bike. Enjoy! Will take you around 1-1,5 hours (blue+black) or 2,5...

My Wife and I booked 4 Bikes for the family. On arrival my wives allocated bike had a puncture so she was given a much smaller bike the same size as my 11 year old son ( Fixing a puncture shouldn't be a problem should it? ) The bikes generally were very good as were the helmets. We chose the 15km route - no map was available and the 'route is clearly marked just follow the signs' Well that was not our experience or the rider behind us because despite extensive searching halfway around the route the signs were missing. This spoilt what had the potential to be a great day out. On reporting the missing sign I was told the error was mine and the other users for not looking properly! There was no apology for what was not our error. When we asked to use the cafe we were told it was closed at 16.15 but didn't shut until 1630. When we went into the Cafe Staff said they were open and were helpful and provided the drinks we wanted. The issue is with the 'Front of House' who's attitude was at...
