This is a MUST VISIT for South Africans to see First Hand a Proudly S.A. Success Story. Vivian Kleynhans and her family are doing the Best that they can with what they have at their disposal. Their 7 Wines & Food Pairing is World Class and the portion are meals, not just tasters. They deserve a 5 Star rating for the Absolute Magic service that they render to the public.....Today Friday 7th July 2016 and we are back here to replenish our Home stocks...Hahahahah! Superb fine wines......Today:- 4th Oct 2018.....An agog visit to do wine-tasting & enjoy the cheese-boards accompanying the wines but more so to see if things have changed and if the "Moscato" wine is in stock as it was out for our last two visits here and also to check-out if the wine intended for the only Brutus family brothers has been launched! Surprising-lii we found out some amazing turn of events! There was a full-on restaurant "The Village Table Bistro" that has just closed its door because of the Intense Road-upgrade of Annandale Road which is coursing huge problems to access the area, so they plan to re-open it in 2019 when the road-works are completed! The "Moscato" is still not available due to it been the most favourite export wine and the New Red blend launched for the youngest brother has been introduced name-lii "John Brutus Reserve" with their own Brutus Shiraz & Chardonnay! Again our visit here today was an escapade of sheer enjoyment we got to taste two white wines and the two new Brutus Shiraz & Chardonnay both red wines plus we got a complimentary glass of the new “John Brutus Reserve” The cheese-bounds were sufficing with 4 different types of cheeses a nice coriander-chutney, olives, mustard, fresh strawberries and some dry-biscuits! We will have to watch their Facebook page to keep-up with the ongoing developments and we are told that their web-site will eventual-lii be up and running in the next week or two thus allowing on-line purchasing of their wines! For us it’s always worth the while to travel out this way for a visit to Seven...

This review is way overdue, but here goes. Me and my wife got married at SSV earlier this year. We found SSV by chance and visited again to look at it as our wedding reception venue. Meeting Derek and Vivienne, we were immediately impressed by what they wanted to offer us and whatever our expectations were, they were far exceeded! Vivienne and Derek went out of their way to make our wedding reception an experience to remember forever! They are absolute masters of their trade. The food and wine is amazing and the venue, beautiful as it is on a normal day, was transformed into a magical setting for the evening! Vivienne and Derek, I know you are very proud of what you have and achieved at SSV, but action speaks louder than words and what you delivered on the day truly showed your pride and passion for what you produce at SSV! Grateful to you forever! Love,...

For sure one of South Africans best kept secrets. Planning a visit to the Stellenbosch area? Do not drive past, so much is happening on this beautiful farm. The Village Table is a breakfast & lunch restaurant, with inside & outside seating. The large grass area also has a sandpit & swing area for the kids and a volleyball court. The Seven Sisters Winery offers a beautiful wine tasting area inside and outside on the covered stoep, but they will do a special tasting for you down by the river too. Here you can also stock up on their own Seven Sisters & Brutus family reserve wines. Then there's the most stunning venue including a honeymoon suite. Sensory overload with breathtaking views of mountains & vineyards and friendly staff who are passionate about what they do. An experience you'll never forget. Definitely worth a few visits for sure. Highly...

We had our prayer and meditation day at this venue. The service was superb. We were served by some capable ladies who made sure everything was tip top, right down to the water. And all this time we were undisturbed. It was very pleasant to see horses roaming outside, and there was an energetic little dog. The lunch was roast chicken, roast potatoes, sweet carrots, and cauliflower and broccoli with cheese sauce. The roast potatoes stole the show. It would be nice to go back for a wine tasting. The manager told us while the grapes were grown there, the wine was being made in Robertson. There were wines on display inside the venue. The venue consisted of a horshoe arrangement of tables and chairs, while the dining area had 4-seater tables. A very worthwhile visit.
