Magnolia Dell — Attraction in Tshwane Ward 56

THIS is a BEAUTIFUL, REFRESHING PARK, which is obviously highly-used. The setting is lovely with mature and amazing Weeping-Willows on one-side of the creek. The creek has several levels and thus, DELIGHTFUL WATERFALLS! Two-bridges allow people to move easily to the peaceful lake on one-side. Another wonderful feature is that Family and friends utilize the place. Ballgames, picnics, picture-taking, and what appears to be a delicious restaurant, named: "Huckleberry's-In-the-Park-Cafe; it's right in the middle; just inside their door is a glass-case of the MOST-LUSCIOUS-LOOKING CAKES. Folks were RELAXING inside in a cozy-feeling environment. There was a fireplace and a most-pleasant-accepting FEELING - LIKE-EVERYONE was TRULY WELCOME!!! OUTSIDE the leaves still danced lightly on the branches creating the softest, MOST REFRESHING BREEZE ‼️ LOADS OF FABULOUS TREES with a good variety on the sides especially - EACH edge of the park is a hillside. The creek is fully-rocked-in to protect it from erosion, which gives it an exceptional look. They have a "LOVE-BRIDGE" where the two-names of each couple have been written on a lock, with a cyclone-fence-ceiling which they lock onto; this doesn't look obnoxious due the rich-overhang of GREEN-FRESHLY-GROWING-LEAVES and it appears that the locks have been accumulating for a couple of decades. This is the PARK'S THEME!!! Why NOT a "5" on the STAR-RATING? The single weakness is the litter; they need some garbage cans placed AROUND the PARK!!! Plus, they need consistent garbage-collection. 🤔 MY RECOMMENDATION: IF YOU LOVE NATURE, LOOK NO- FURTHER, put your shoes on and STROLL THROUGH, and LET YOUR HEART THRILL TO EVERY INCREDIBLE-INCH OF THIS GOD-CREATED-AND-GIVEN-NATURAL-WONDER‼️💯%🇿🇦❤️ DON'T FORGET to LET YOUR EARS ENJOY the SOUNDS of the BABBLING BROOK as it FLOWS ALONG CREATING a SERENITY that is ALL IT'S OWN GIFT...

It is a beautiful park, no lie. I have been there a couple of times. It has a beautiful scene and the atmosphete is good for types of meet ups.

The only problem I had was the last time I was there. On the 10th of January. We were chilling, having fun, THEN BOOM two guys approached us, got aggresive and tried mugging us. Yep, we had a brawl with these thugs. A phone got stolen, I got bitten and there went the rest of my friday to dealing with police and hospital stuff.

Luckily we managed to neutralize one of the guys and he was locked up in the holding cell.

Bbbuuuttt yeah, I advise that you be cautious when at the park side. I would go there again, no doubt, buy I would not let my guard down the way I did.

The park itself is lovely, just be aware of the vagrants who are not shy to wash in the dwindling stream, which is really sad actually. The pond is all dried up, so it is a bit run down since many moons ago when it was still popular to spend a Sunday afternoon in the park. Parents with children- please be cautious of the slide as the last bit at the end is missing, so the slide itself comes to an abrupt end with rather large rocks at the end. But if you want a place to sit under a tree and watch your furry or human kids run around in open spaces, still...
