Seal Island / Duiker Island. First place to be visited today was Harbour Front and Seal Island at Haut Bay. Started early morning. Sentinal Mountain was visible throughout the route from hotel to Haut Bay. Some photos on the move. Hrabour Front is exactly what it says. The settlement on the slopes near the harbour front,The sentinal ul ntain and the front itself looked nice. Here we boarded Capsylo a ferry boat which was to take us to the Seal Island. The island is so named because of the great number of Cape fur seals that occupy it. It is 5 acres in area and home to 64,000 cape fur seals. It was not too far and took about 10 - 15 mts to reach . The sea was a bit choppy. Gap between the coast at Sentinal Mountain and the Island did not appear too much and the young Captain David did great job of maintaining its position almost in the middle of the gap. Don't miss the chance to see these beautiful creatures acting in their natural environment. It is always an AWESOME experience to watch Mother Nature´s shows.
To get there just book a tour with one of the many agencies that offer this incredible adventure. If you stay in a hostel, ask the people at the reception desk, there´s a good chance that they will book it for you, since they usually have good conventions with tour agencies.

The boat then takes to seal island which is around 20-25 minutes away and a trip gets completed in 45 minutes. You view the seal colony from the boat as it slows near that island.. Do remember, there are lots of street stalls at the harbour before selling souvenirs which are cheaper than most other places. As already covered by many do note that there is strong bad smell from the.fish, be prepared for it. But a experience...
