We visited the Folklore Museum Onyang sat. morning by city-run Asan City Tour bus. Light raining welcomed us around 10:20.
Inside museum, a docent (YEO Jeongsook, 여정숙) gave us a professional and heartwarming interp. session in Korean. (Thanks to her again). Technically we finished the 1st floor only, leaving the 2nd and 3rd floors behind, because we had to return the bus by 11:20am for the next stop; if time were permitted we would've been staying longer!
This cozy, private museum was built in late 1970s by a vision-driven publisher of 계몽사 (lterally, 'Enlightment' Publishing Co.). Used to be a loyal reader of this company, I am pleased with witnessing his priceless legacy.
In closing, please do not envy me, a bilingual in Korean and in English: I'm not sure the museum offers (a) multilingual program(s). An inquiry could be made in advance.

There is a cafe that can be accessed through the parking lot that is also very nice, with quality coffee and cakes in a serene and...
