Mud Square — Attraction in Boryeong-si

대천해수욕장에 있는 4개의 광장 중 하나이고 머드축제 때 이곳에서 메인행사가 열렸습니다(23년도 기준)

진입하는 도로도 넓직하고 주차공간도 별도의 공용주차장이 있어서 놀러오시는 분들은 크게 교통으로 불편함은 없을 거 같아요 그냥 성수기 때 사람이 많은 것은 관광지면 다 많을 것이지만 진짜 많이 몰리면 너무 많습니다.. 공영주차장도 꽉 찰 정도.

의외로 놀러오신 분들이 잘 모르는 것 중에 하나가 머드축제를 해변에서 하는 걸로 아시는 분들이 계시더라고요 해변에서 진행하는 게 아니라 광장에 부스가 설치되어 있으니 참고하시기 바랍니다!

해변에서는 일정기간에 한하여 저녁시간에도 입수를 개방할 때가 있으니 시간을 잘 확인하시기 바랍니다. 보통 성수기에 일몰 즈음 시간이 되면 입수통제를 하기 시작합니다.

주변에 식당이나 숙소도 가깝고 물품보관소, 샤워장, 화장실 다 있고 바로 밑에 해변도 있다 보니 많은 사람이 몰리는 거 같습니다

다만 워낙 사람이 많기 때문에 안전사고, 도난 및 분실 등 많은 사건사고가 일어날 수 있으니 항상 조심하셔야겠습니다

There are times when access to the beach is open even in the evening for a certain period of time, so please check the time carefully. Usually, when it's around sunset during the peak season, access control begins.

It's close to restaurants and accommodations, and there are storage, shower, and restrooms, and there's a beach right down there, so it seems like a lot of people are flocking

Personally I would not visit this event again. The games have gone down in quality, the area was smaller, the lines longer, the staff not friendly at all, and the concert too manufactured. It felt that they were more concerned about getting good pictures for their advertising then they were about the crowd actually having a good time. The Mud festival is a really great experience. I had lots of fun. This was my second time visiting as I had visited back in 2011. The venue seemed smaller than I remembered,This is the perfect place to visit as a group and make memories.
