It is an observatory that offers a panoramic view of Dadaepo. There is a coffee shop on the 3rd floor and various information can be obtained on the 2nd floor. During low tide, you can see the sand dunes on the beach, and you can see distant scenery and migratory birds through the telescope on the third floor. Plus, the telescopes are free, so you can see as much as you want. Compared to what you can do in the U.S. by inserting 25 coins and seeing it briefly, I am really satisfied. You can receive pamphlets with various information for free, but they are not in English, so you have to translate them using...

Route Warning: DO NOT attempt to hike up the hill to the side of Amisan Observatory if you are scared of heights. Scariest experience. Luckily there was an abandoned rest point halfway up the hill to catch a breather. Do yourself a favour and take a bus or taxi with Kakao T to reach the top. Directions from Google maps to walk here from Dadaepo Beach are inaccurate.

Amisan Observatory itself though is very modern and clean. Free to enter, air conditioned, clean toilets and wheelchair friendly. The viewing also had free With a small cafe on the third floor serving muffins, cakes and coffee, and a...

Probably the best sunset view of Busan city. You can look down the mouth of Nakdong river and South Sea openly. It has small exhibition hall with korean and english explanation. You can learn some geological characteristics of this area. You can buy some snacks, drinks and souvenirs on the 2nd floor. Near Amisan Observatoy, there are Dadaepo beach and Molundae which have lots of shops and restaurants. So if you want to reach this beautiful Dadaepo beach and Molundae by foot, you can use the wooden stairs near the Observatory. P.S. The Observatory is closed on Mondays and...
