There's a nice assortment of animals to touch, but management could use a bit of work there. There really need to be signs to say which animals are not safe to touch without a trained professional, and the rooms need to be aired out (there's a strong animal smell that gets stuck in your clothes). I'm also not sure whether they clean the shoes there or not, and there was a worker who was just flirting with some women and putting sticker tattoos on them instead of staying in the reptile/amphibian area to take out animals for customers. The entrance fees are also a bit pricey (and 13,000 won for a 33-month-old???). Other places don't even charge toddlers, or charge significantly less. On the upside, our daughter did enjoy touching and looking at the animals there. I just hope the place makes some changes to make customers feel more comfortable.
☆☆☆ UPDATE (February of 2025): It seems they take customers' constructive criticism into account, as I noticed that the animal smell was not as strong as the first time I had visited (it didn't even get stuck in our clothes this time), and I saw some windows open for air flow. The staff were also readily available to answer questions about the animals there and take animals out of their cages to pet or feed them; they were pretty kind and patient about it, too. They also made sure to quickly clean up any messes the animals made, to make customers more comfortable. Some new animals were added as well, which is another plus. There are signs to say whether certain animals might bite, so that's good. I noticed as of 2025, they replaced the slippers that children should switch into with new ones, too. Now, the only thing I noticed in need of improvement is that the deer there always seems ravenous, following people around for food they're trying to feed to other animals and even sticking its head into other animals' cages to eat their food and drink their water, so it makes me wonder if maybe it doesn't get enough food and water to keep it from going to that extreme. After all, I'm sure deer eat A LOT more compared to the smaller animals. It might take some figuring out, but if the deer has eaten enough, it might not get into as much mischief. If animals are too hungry, of course they're going to go look for food. So, I would recommend making sure the animals get enough to eat so that they don't get overly hungry and use their instincts to look for any food they can find. Anyway, our daughter still enjoyed touching and looking at the animals there and especially loved feeding them, so we will probably go there again at some point. :) I upped the rating from 3 stars to 4! If there were a 4.5, I'd give that, but ratings can only be given as whole numbers...
