Sapgyoho Amusement Park is more children oriented (for some rides kids have to be 120-130 cm tall), but adults or couples will find things to do here too for sure. The park has quite retro feel to it, most of the rides been around for a bit, you can tell just looking at the state of the paint or screws, the ferris whel cabins are not AC'd and the boors have to be locked from the outside. We tried the Viking Boat, Sky Railcar and the Ferris Wheel and the one thing I didn't like was the pricing - all rides except for the ferris wheel are 5500₩ (adults) or 4500₩ (kids), but not all rides have that value. Read moreVery small intimate carnival like park. There are a decent amount of rides here and a few photo opportunities set up around the park. The rides could go a little longer, in my opinion.
It was a nice getaway for the kids to take a break from school.
Admission- there are no admission fees, however, rides are by the ticket (4,500 for kids 5,900 adults). There are no wristbands for purchase. There was also limited staff.
Parking- there's paid parking and free parking right near the Ferris Wheel.
Surrounding area- Plenty of seafood and a few cafes nearby as well. Lots of vendors setup a short walk up the street with food and traditional snacks. Definitely a nice area to explore when...
Read moreThis place was an unexpected treat. They have a few thrill rides such as your standard Viking swing boat. They also have a batting cage, video game arcade and a few other rides. I would encourage walking around the area considering they have a ton of fresh shellfish restaurants that seem to be booming! Proceed to the waterfront as well... tons...
