Jeongdongjin Beach — Attraction in Gangneung-si

A nice scenery, a good place for all especially to a family vacation. The life guards are active. Safety first always. But we didnt enjoy much of the beach. Since the waves are big, they dont let us swim in to the waters. We came to the beach for a swim and not just look at it. One thing that we are disappointed. Just a reminder for those who are going to visit, check the weather forecast. If its cloudy and windy. You can't swim in the beach.

The landscape is great but not such convenient for public transportation. This place can arrives by public transportation but you might have a long wait between Gangneung station and Jeongdongjin station. If you live in other cities like seoul and planning for one day trip then suggest I you have a look on the train schedule or you might back to seoul in the midnight or even no train back to Seoul.
