옥포 수변공원 — Attraction in Geoje-si

A park next to DSME, and next to Ok-po fishery port. Quite well maintained with ocean in front of the park. Local district is just behind the park. In many point, it is quite well located. Access to the ocean is basically prohibited, but people crawl over fense to take a fishing. Not sure fish living just next to the world biggest shipyard would be good for health. The fishes have more iron, maybe? Anyway, except for some strange fising guys over the fense, the park is loved by local residents a lot. Every evening, civils come to the park and take a good jogging and walking for refreah. The park holds various kinds event and festival, and it's also attracting visitors around. Nice place to go with your family. There are clean toilets on site and everything you may need near by. Grab a cup of coffee from the convenience store and watch the waves. Take in the view of the ocean or watch the large ships, while the kids ride their scooters. If that gets boring visit the park across the road.
