Very easy to get around and there was a small sign to take a picture of on the front waterfront. Next to their fortress too so you can see what used to be the walls.

겨운철 비수기 때 해변과 주변을 걷는 경험만 한 리뷰임. 데크 산책로, 야자수 길. 경관 괜찮음.별 5개주긴 애매한 곳이지만 아는 사람이나 들리는 사람이 적은게 아쉬워 5개줌. 화장실 있음. 해수욕하는 입장에서는 묘한 갯벌냄새나(바로 다리 옆에 새가 많은? 물가 있음) 백사장X 그냥 사장... 치워지지 않은 해초가 많음. 거슬릴 수 있음. 그러나 해변 넓고, 모래턱이 있어서 아이가 있는 가족이 해수욕하긴 좋을 듯. 오히려 다른 해수욕장보단 어구 쓰레기는 적은 편. 주변에 상권은 카약 대여 정도 뿐이라 차를 가져오길 추천...

제주도에서도 가장 아름답다고 이름난 성산~종달~하도~세화를 잇는 해안도로의 하도리 도로변에 있다. 협재·함덕·삼양·표선 같은 제주의 유명 해수욕장과는 달리 관광객이 적은 한적한 곳이다. 수심이 아주 얕고, 물이 맑으며 백사장이 넓게 펼쳐져 있다. 2005년에 샤워실탈의장을 겸한 화장실 건물이 만들어졌다. 해수욕장 한쪽에는 문주란이 자라고, 바다 너머로는 우도가 보인다. 가까이에 천연기념물 제19호로 지정된 제주 토끼섬 문주란 자생지와 하도리 철새도래지, 제주도기념물 제24호인 별방진성(別防鎭城)이 있다. (두산백과)
