Great place to hang out for 3 hours plus, it is more for young kids , adult and elder folks and lovers to stroll through the lush forested area and very instagrammable. This not a theme park for exciting rides for young adults, and may find it boring. However we still see a few whole bunches of local student tour group and china tour group enjoying the park. The area is huge where you need to take a mini train through the 5 stations (including main station at entrance) however it is only 1 way. The train goes through each land which has a theme, Main station [buy admission ticket(s), cafe, korean restaurant (serves western and Korean dishes) and souvenir shop], Ecobridge station (where there is hotel where you can spend overnight), lake side station (high rise gondola and swan boats/ bumper boats for rent), forest park (horses where feeding is allowed), lavender park station and back. The time we got there we had delicious lunch there (western pork chop rise, udon noodle, fried rice with tempura rice). The train ride was cooling through the 26 Sep 24 we were there will cooling wind blowing, however the sun was out. We took alot of great photos at shaded ecobridge and walk almost to lake side station however was exposed to hot sun (no shade closer to lake side) thus was pretty burned out and unfortunately my companion skipped forest park (not shaded). She reluctantly followed us out on Lavender park which has many flowers however lavender field was not in bloom. We were delighted it turns out to pretty place to stop with some shade. The cafe there was packed with people buying ice cream, should be nice but we did not stop for that. Overall highly recommended to come here and view the beautiful grounds at 16,000 won per person (adult). Quite a few tourist, local student group visit there when we were there. Will come back again maybe stay one day inside theme park hotel which also has good review 4.5...
Read moreEcoland on Jeju Island is a truly remarkable escape into nature, offering a fantastic blend of serene landscapes and picturesque photo opportunities. If you're looking for a place where you can immerse yourself in beautiful scenery and capture some stunning shots for your social media, this is definitely it. The natural beauty here is exceptional. The landscapes are meticulously maintained and flow seamlessly with the natural environment, creating a very peaceful and visually appealing experience. Every turn offers a new vista, making it a photographer's dream – you'll find countless spots perfect for check-ins and memorable photos. The air is fresh, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, a perfect antidote to city life. A highlight of my visit was encountering a wonderfully friendly dog roaming the grounds! It was such a delightful surprise and added a unique, heartwarming touch to the experience. Its gentle demeanor made it clear it was used to visitors, and it truly enhanced the welcoming vibe of the place. While the natural scenery and photo opportunities are top-notch, I did find that the attractions and activities specifically geared towards younger children were somewhat limited. Families with very small kids might find fewer dedicated play areas or interactive exhibits to keep them fully engaged for an extended period. Despite this minor point, Ecoland remains a highly recommended destination, especially for adults and older children who appreciate natural beauty, scenic walks, and excellent photo opportunities. It's a fantastic spot to connect with nature and create...
Read moreThe reason I am only leaving 1 star is because I went here with my family and was able to catch the last train which operated at 4:30 pm. We paid full price but were not given the time to experience anything as all the shops/cafes were already closed. The train only stopped at 2 stations and only allowed about 5-10 minutes before we were told to board again. By the time our experience was finished it was not even 5:30 pm.
Keep in mind EcoLand supposedly closes at 6:30 pm. We were not advised that this is how operations would be handled prior to purchasing the tickets.
If you plan to come, do not make the mistake we made and visit well before closing. At 2pm at the latest!
As a piece of advice for the management of EcoLand, if this is a regular practice, let your customers know that they won't be able to experience anything, decrease your entry fare for only the train ride, or update a "last entry" time to 2pm to allow people more time to experience...
