Really disappointed and saddened by the living conditions of these animals.
Large birds were chained up, only able to move around a few metres. Some of the birds were chewing on their leg chain, seems like they were very frustrated. Multiple of the bird enclosures were very dirty, they were living in their own filth. Nocturnal birds forced to be out in the sunlight so they can’t sleep comfortably, just so visitors can see them. Two large tortoises had a tiny enclosure, barely able to move around.
Although the variety of animals they had was interesting, it’s not worth supporting a business which treats these animals so poorly. I know businesses need to make money and holding animals in captivity is almost always an ethical concern, but they could at least provide decent living conditions for...
Read moreThe worst bird park I have ever been. Such cruel living conditions. Birds are chained to a spot, can barely move a few inches, and some were under the hot sun. Owls are “displayed” in the day for the fun of humans. The poor penguin looked so sad and looked like it wanted to jump out of the “enclosure”, it is basically stuck in the middle of a pond! And it was so warm! Even outdoors were cooler! It was so alone and the water is so shallow! I condemn this place. I wouldn’t even give it one star! I did not take other photos because i do not even enjoy one bit of my time there. Even though they have exotic birds like a vulture there, I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS because the birds are basically trapped in a small space stepping on...
Read moreWe've visited numerous animal parks and cafés on Jeju and so far this is one of my favorites. It is clean and well manicured. They make excellent use of the space. Unlike some other similar places I've been (not all, but some) the animals appear healthy and well cared for. The variety of animals is better than most places outside of a zoo, and there are some more unique creatures to see. The bird selection in particular is good. A nice variety of raptors, tropical, and song birds. My daughter was the driving influence in the visit, being an avid animal lover, and she very much enjoyed the aviary where you can feed the smaller birds. Sort of a Snowy White experience where they'll land on your hand to feed. This will be a return...
