We are from Singapore and rented a car to get around Jeju which seems to be very popular even with locals. The GPS in Korea scores top marks, it’s so easy to navigate even the small country back pathways! From the time we collected the car to the farm, it took about 35mins. ||||They don't do that many international guests as the couple managing does not speak fluent English. We were fortunate that our daughter (23 yrs) spoke basic Korean and was able to get us around. The owner’s daughter who just started her sabbatical was there and she also spoke English. ||||Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Owner. The beautiful log cabins are very well maintained and clean. The ground floor has an ensuite bath with a queen mattress and a Korean style dining table. The attic which has a mini balcony has another queen mattress. It looked like it could fit another single if there was more people but i am uncertain of their policies. We had 3 adults and 1 child. Other items in the cabin included a fully furnished with a kitchenette, cutlery, rice cooker, micro and a fairly large refrigerator. The WIFI connection was very strong within the cabin. ||||It was close to dinner time when we arrived. They have a cafe too but was closed. We inquired about where the supermarket was and we were told about 10 to 15 minutes. We found a decent sized supermarket and were soon buying up Korean Ginseng soup (pre packed) to meats, kimchis, sauces and salad. There was a BBQ place which we found on the way back that served excellent beef BBQ and that concluded night 1.|| ||The farm offers an optional BBQ at your cabin veranda (a small service fee to pay) and we took that up one evening with the food we bought. They did the cooking for us and it was really a nice meal with great weather (not forgetting the shoju). ||||Its the small things that make the difference. When we needed to launder our clothing; (they don't offer this service) however obliged us to do so complimentary with their own machine. ||||This place is a hidden gem. For city folks like us, we are always looking for opportunity to stay away from the urban feel and looking for quality time to veg during a family vacation. We could drive around in the day and return early evening to relax in the serene environments of the farm. ||||We could play with the dogs in the garden. The friendly four paws enjoyed playing fetch with a ball or sticks from the ground. My son (4 yrs) was like a shepherd boy; following the farmer to play and feed the sheep. The friendly animals besides the dogs and sheep included the pigs, horses, chickens and deer.||||My son cried upon departure. He wished that he was able to stay there longer even though we were there for four. Thank you for the great experience Jeju Yangtte Farm & Pension. We had a great time.||||Oh just some advise, they offer amenities except that their bath towel is a hand towel. i suggest you bring your own if you want bath towels.||Cleaning is not daily however they exchange used towels...

Read moreI stayed two nights in this lovely place. It was a memorable experience interacting with the nature and animals. Especially, my kids loved feeding sheep, horses, pigs, goats, deers, and other animals, and playing frisbee with dogs.|The log house has two stories - one queen size mattress in ground floor and another queen size mattress in the next floor. The house is air conditioned and also equipped with heated floor for winter. There is a small kitchen with kitchenwares. Wifi is available in the house. |The owner family was very kind and considerate although their English is not perfect. If you were tired with busy city life and get refreshed with energy from the nature, this place would...
