Jeju is known as “the kingdom of Oreums. (a korean word for small parasitic extinct volcano). If you ever visit jeju I really recommend you explore at least one of the 360 oreums. Each oreum has its own beauty and a different charm. Visit once and it will force you to leave your heart here. This story is about one of these Oreums.... the almighty “Saebyeol Oreum” which is about 520meters from the sea level. Easy climbing and “every age friendly” kids, young and old people all can climb it and enjoy the pleasant view and heart touching scenery. All you need is a pair or running shoes and willingness to reach to the top. It can be slippery sometimes in the winter and snowy season but it’s been covered with Anti-slipping jute made paths. Which makes all your ways clear and safe to climb this beautiful Oreum, enjoy the fresh air and the explore the real charm of the Silver grass covering almost every inch of this highland. Most of all there is huge parking lot, local street food stalls, clean toilets, Experience to see a number of Horses wandering all around.
Well in short an “ALL IN ONE PACKAGE”.

Some of the local folks were well-prepared- proper shoes with the ice-thing on their shoes to trek ice, and even trekking sticks.
It's do-able, just be mentally prepared that it's abit slippery. The hike up was...
