This place was worth visiting if in Jeonju. It was well done with good explanations of the process of making hanji paper as well as its many uses. You get to make your own sheet to take and there is no cost.

Sehr anschaulich und spannende Darstellung der Entwicklung, Herstellung und Verwendung von Papier und insbesondere Hanji-Papier. Eignet sich sowohl fĂŒr Erwachsene als auch fĂŒr Kinder. Die Ausstellung endet mit der eigenen Herstellung eines Blatts Hanji-Papier, das auch bedruckt und gespiegelt werden kann. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Abschluss hĂ€tte ich mir gewĂŒnscht, dass man direkt vor Ort auch traditionelle Erzeugnisse kaufen könnte - FĂ€cher, BĂŒcher, Hefte oder einzelne BlĂ€tter. Das gab es leider nicht. Ein Besuch ist aber auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert!

The museum is pretty far from the hanok village. I opted for a taxi, cost was about 10,000. There's a lot of information, all in both hangul and english. At the end of the tour, you can make your own sheet of hanji. That was fun. The gift shop is nice. Well-worth the trip if paper...

Making paper was a fun experience! I bought my husband an attractive paper tie and myself a pair of paper socks. There were other unique paper crafts. My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were with me . The museum was accessible by a bus ride, which we all did. I...
