Out of the 3 eMarts I have visited, this one is the best.
Food is located on the ground level. You can shop and see the day light through the windows, unlike Jeju or Sinjeju (food is located on the basement level).
There is a bakery located at he front...so tempting. And a coffee shop. You can shop, relax and have a bite to eat.
The layout is more spaced out than Jeju, nice to have aisles rather than walking in circles.
Products vary a bit from the other stores, which is odd. But demographics are what they are.
Parking is on the 2nd floor. Store is located just steps away from Seogwipo...

There are two other emarts on the island, both in Jeju itself. Many local tourists appear to land at Jeju with minimal luggage and then stock up at emart. Read moreMaybe it's because I prefer Homeplus over Emart but I always find it an annoynace shopping here as it's always overly crowded. They offer more foreign friendly options than Homeplus but most things here are overpriced for what you get back. Especially if you're buying fresh produce. But because there is no Homeplus anywhere in Jeju, they can mark up prices as high as they can profit...
