Donkey and I were on a round-island cycling adventure in Jeju, and Hello Kitty Island was one of the stops I was most excited for! We arrived after a long day of cycling, and even though it was a bit of a detour from our main route, it was worth the extra miles.
The park's design is incredibly well-done. It's like stepping into a giant Hello Kitty world, but in a way that's not overwhelming. We loved the way they incorporated all the different Sanrio characters, making it interesting for everyone, not just Hello Kitty fans. We had a great time taking photos with all the giant statues and exploring each themed area.
The Pompompurin pancake house was a highlight for us. The pancakes were adorable and delicious, and the whole atmosphere was so fun and whimsical. It was a nice change of pace from all the cycling. We also enjoyed the Hello Kitty Island Cafe, which was charming and had plenty of photo opportunities.
The ticket price was reasonable, especially considering how well-maintained the park was. It was a great way to spend a few hours and unwind after a day of exploring the island.
Overall, Hello Kitty Island Jeju is more than just a theme park; it's a carefully curated experience that successfully blends charm, quality, and affordability. It offers a fun and engaging day out for families and Hello...
Read moreKitty and I were on a Jeju bike adventure around the Jeju Fantasy Bike Path, doing a round island tour. Kitty, being a huge fan of Hello Kitty and Sanrio characters, specifically requested a visit to Hello Kitty Island, so we happily made a detour to experience this whimsical place.
It was a dream come true for her, and we had a truly delightful time. The island is filled with interactive exhibits, themed rooms, photo opportunities, and a charming cafe. We spent a memorable afternoon exploring the different areas and taking lots of cute pictures. Kitty was especially delighted by the decorations and Sanrio characters, and she snapped tons of photos. She even collected some Hello Kitty gold coins as a souvenir.
The cafe was also a highlight, nicely decorated and cute, with a lovely Hello Kitty backdrop. The pastries weren't the most amazing we've ever had, but they were still enjoyable, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
We initially planned to spend half a day at Hello Kitty Island, but we found that one and a half hours was more than enough, especially with all the picture taking and enjoying the cafe.
For two adult tickets, we paid 32,000 won (approximately $24 USD), which we felt was a fair price considering the fun we had.
Overall, Hello Kitty Island is a fun and memorable experience for fans of all ages, and we highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of...
Read moreWhat an awesome experience. This Hello Kitty museum tells you the history of Hello Kitty and has a nice timeline to do so. It also has a kids area to do a few fun things for the kiddos. Your kids ages 5-8 will enjoy it more.
The arcade area is small, not much games, but good to have a stroll around.
The cafe is fun, with lots of drinks and treats for the kids. If you're lucky you get the kitty room with a bench and table.
Not that busy as it was a Friday at noon we got into the place. By 2pm the cafe did run out of a few favourite cake rolls and tables where available.
Super friendly staff that will guide you through the...
