새벽부터 밤늦게까지 하루종일 운동과 산책하시는 시민들이 많습니다. 관리도 잘되고 있습니다. 그런데 공식 공원이름은 응봉산공원 인가봅니다. 응봉산은 여기서 약 2km정도 떨어진 곳에있죠. 해돋이와 개나리, 암벽등반공원으로 유명한~ 이 공원은 5호선 신금호역 바로 옆에 붙어있고 금호동,신당동,왕십리동,동화동,문화동에 접해있어 법정동으로 공원명을 짓기 어려웠겠지만 오래전부터 대현산배수지가 있어왔던 곳이고, 이 공원을 이용하는 분들은 모두 대현산배수지공원으로 불리우고 있습니다. 여기저기 공원 안내 표지판에도 대현산배수지공원으로 표시되어 있습니다. 공식 공원명은 전혀 연관없는 응봉산공원을 버리고 본래이름인 대현산배수지공원으로 환원되어야 합니다.

얼마전 트랙우레탄을 새로 깔아서 신발쿠션이 따로 없어도 푹신한 느낌의 산책, 조깅, 러닝을 즐길 수 있습니다. 대현산배수지공원 전체는 1.1Km 내부 트랙은 1바퀴 약 300m 각종 운동부대시설이 설치되어 있고 즐기기도 좋습니다. 다만, 코로나로 인해 일부 시설은 이용이 잠정 중단되어 있는 것도 있으니 참고하시면 됩니다.

응봉공원으로도 알려진 주민들의 휴식공간으로 1 테니스장 2 풋살장 3 농구장 등이 있고 조깅 트랙 놀이터 어르신들 운동기구도 있습니다

저는 농구장 테니스장 이용해봤는데요 풋살장은 무료이고 인터넷으로 신청하고 테니스장은 유료이고 인터넷으로 신청합니다 코트가 2개 있습니다~ 농구장은 올코트 1개 있습니다~

많은분들이 조깅중이며 시계 반대방향으로 도는것을 목격 가능합니다 트랙 전체가 약 1.2km 된다고 합니다

주차장은 있다고 들었으나 아직 이용은 못했습니다

요즘은 단풍도 볼만하고 공원이 상당히 잘 조성되어 주변 아파트 주민 인근지역주민들이 자부심을 가질만 합니다

여전히 이용객 많구요 공원은 이제 삶에서 없어서는 안되는...
