They don’t let foreign people in. No explanation and no help from the staff. Pictures on the internet are nice but if you don’t look korean they won’t let you in. Went there yesterday and they said it was closed due to the national liberation day. Today another guard just started yelling. The korean people can walk/drive in all the time. 동작구에 위치한 국립현충원
넓은 부지와 구역별(사병묘역, 장군묘역 등)로 나뉘어져 있어서 둘러보면서 다닐 수 있어요. 걸어서 다 보려면 생각보다 시간이 좀 걸리고 경사가 있는 곳도 있습니다 저는 관련이 있는 장소라 그런지는 몰라도 더 경외심이 드는 곳이었습니다.
봄가을에 오면 생각보다 꽃이나 나무들이 예쁘게 되어 있어 보기 좋아요!
전에는 면회도 정문 근처에 있던 곳에서 진행이 됐었는데 지금은 어떻게 진행되는 지 모르겠네요. 기념일이 되면 나라의 높으신 분들께서 오는 것으로 알고 있습니다
가을에 밤 떨어지면 주워가시는 분들도 계셨어요 가끔 현충일 때 방문하곤 했었습니다
여기 계신 분들 덕분에 지금의 대한민국이 있는 것이라 생각합니다.
