worst service ever in my close to 30 year life!
first, they messed up the reservation date and i had to reschedule.
second, the chef shouted and scolded the server who seems to be his wife nonstop during the first 15 min even though there are customers sitting right in front of him.
third, i had to explain myself to server what i was doing with 5 paper napkin which i was using to describe something to my girlfriend, and when i did she gave me an awkward smile. i was annoyed and said to the server that i will actually use those napkins afterward.
and you know what? she gave me this nasty glare that i have never received in my 20 so years of dining experience

You can tell that he has quite some experience and pride up his sleeves from the way he work. The food is provided omakase style, where the chef decides the menu for you. So the experience is always different, but it never disappoints. You WILL leave the store completely full, because the owner gives you a lot of food. Since the shop is a counter-only shop, you might want to call at least a day ahead to make sure you get a seat.
