Found this beautiful Traditional Hanok style cafe & tea house in this Samcheonggak. Just follow the sign for Dongbaekheon when you pass the entrance gate and you will find this place.

The staff was attentive and helpful even though his English was limited. We were there at around 5pm and the sunlight hit beautifully outside and in the garden. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed the summer breeze in the garden so much that we wish we could have more time to spend here.

The menu however, was limited to Korean only and it offered just some basic coffee drinks and a few kinds of tea served with some traditional Korean desserts. I ordered tea set for one person and sadly got only 1 bowl of rice cakes (saw a video before coming to this place and it had some other colorful desserts). Staff told me that more desserts only came with tea set for 2 and more.

Overall, it was a very pleasurable and enjoyable time in Seoul Korea...

Totally overrated place, and our experience there was unbelievable. We never got our water refilled, the staff was polite but mostly ignoring or didn't notice us, and the food was mostly bland, boring or chewy/rubbery. Expected more from 150 000kw dinner in such a lovely looking place. We (two) walked out in middle of the course, yet we had to pay full price for one person. Only reason why we're not giving the place 1 star was that someone took the situation in control and apologized for our experience, and gave us free coffee while we waited...

Had a lunch at this establishment since completion of its renovation. Looks great from outside, but the inside was not what we expected. It has unwelcoming atmospherics decor and lacks natural lights within. The food was great and definitely not overpowered by sauces for you to identify and distinguish the taste of every vegetable and meat being served. I was considering utilizing this place to host a guest, but not likely. A bit overrated with...

This place is very beautiful, and I’m glad that I came at the right time of the year and the right time of the day. It gets crowded right after they open at noon, but I was lucky to come around 11:00 am to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the fresh air of an autumn morning. They have beautifully designed restaurants, coffee shops, and a wedding hall here. It’s hard to reach by public transportation, so I walked, and I think it was worth the walk.

When i came, it was already late. The main place was already closed, but not their restaurant. So i just took a picture in the outside and had a dinner in there. The decoration looked fancy and neat. Ordered some menu like bulgogi and platter of nine delicacies. The taste was fine, the price was a bit higher than the other place tho. Well, if you wanna try a neat cuisine with tradition of Korean, you may try this one.
