‘Gyejoam’ means ‘inheriting the progenitor's grotto.’ It’s because the other Buddhist masters inherited this place from the original builders. Built in one of the rock clusters, a grotto hermitage was established under the round shape rock which is a cave. From here we can clearly see 'Ulsanbawi'. It's a great Trek. The water available right in front of the temple is very pure and tasty. It has great views and is peaceful. It's sure that you will...

This simple, understated temple looks pretty cool with all the little Buddha statutes everywhere and the mountains looming in the background. Probably would have been much more impressive if the weather was better, but it was great even in heavy fog and light rain. Great place to stop for a little breather on the hike...

A temple at the foot of the big climb to Ulanbawi Rocks that is built into a huge piece of granite rock. Pretty scenic and worth a stop to it's interior, which is beautiful.
