The Falls Observatory is more of a small viewing platform perched at the top of the hillside, but is worth the hike up the steep steps to just for the views and surrounding landscape. You can see across to Sokcho and the Sea from the very top section.

A beautiful walk, first past the water falls then up the winding metal stairs to the top of the gorge. A hard climb up the stairs (and down!) but worth it if you're relatively fit! Stunning views at the top.

토왕성폭포를 만나러가는길은 완만하다 딱 비룡폭포까지만. 비룡폭포까지 가는길은 등산로라기보다는 가벼운 산책로라고 보면됨. 도중에 만나는 육담폭포와 비룡폭포의 경관도 참 좋았음. 비룡폭포에서 토왕성폭포까지 0.4km밖에 되지 않는 거리지만 계단 900여개로 이루어져 있어 20~30분정도 소요된다. 스테퍼 찐~하게 한다는 마음으로 올라가보면 웅장한 토왕성폭포를 만날 수 있다. 사실 눈으로 볼때는 물이 말라보여서 조금 아쉬웠는데 자세히 보니 얇게나마 물줄기가 있는게 보였다. (이 사진으로 보는것보다 더 안보임) 물줄기는 거의 보이지 않더라도 웅장한 폭포의 모습은 가히 장관이었다. 900계단 올라온 보람이 있음. 비가 많이 내린 다음날이라던가 사전에 sns를 통해 찾아보고 오는걸 추천한다.

Such a fascinating and beautiful location. You experience the falls all the way up to the observatory. I went during early October. It was calm and serene. I savored every bit of peace and soothing sounds as I trekked up. Lovely breeze...
