The National Institute of Ecology (or Botanical garden) is a great place to visit. This place is very large, and has plenty to explore. I loved the nature biomes, animal exhibits, and the building architecture. Interesting to get to see native plants and animals and exhibits from biomes tje world over. They had a souvenirs shop, a convenience store, and a coffe & smoothie hut. A short drive north of Gunsan, and worth the visit. Ticket were $5, 7/2021.

Great place that is part zoo, part playground for kids, and part conservatory. They have a deer park that is outdoors. A huge outdoors children's playground area, and a part conservatory part zoo/aquarium indoors representing several different biomes. There's also a large indoors playground as well. Highly recommended if you bring kids. If you visit during the winter months, prepare to take off your jacket at the tropical area; you will sweat a lot.

It was so nice to come here. There's something for everyone there, whether you speak Korean or don't. Had a wonderful time walking through all the different biomes and saw all the different trees and creatures that inhabit them. Next time I come here, I would like to check out the 4D Theater. See what that's all about.

It is located a bit of nowhere but worth a visit if you happened to be around in the area. It was a shame that rain downpoured when I visited but Ecorium alone was fun enough. Highly recommend it (the pic is the exit of the National Ecology Centre inside which Ecorium is located).

the Ecological center in Chungchung province. It has a good park to walk around and diverse exhibitions to appreciate. But there are not many interesting places to explore near. It's accessible cause the train station is very close.
