이곳은 여수 시민들이 이용하는 시민 공원으로 조그마한 호수가 있는 곳입니다. 예전에는 이곳은 농사를 짖는 방죽이었지만 도심이 들어스고 호수공원으로 탕바꿈 한 곳으로 옆에는 여수에서는 유일하게 실내 행사를 할 수 있는 곳이기도 합니다. 그리고 주위가 도심이기에 더욱 신민들과 친숙한 공원으로 자리잡았다...
